  These are nice and thick, generally well made, but the opening for the posts is oddly designed. You’d think you could bind to thicker and thinner posts, but the broader opening of the spade is too broad (unless you are wiring up an electric chair) and they are prone to want to twist around and squirm out under tightening. Narrower posts where you can shove the spade all the way in works fine though. The screws are also marginal. Copper is soft, so you don’t expect to really torque these down, but the thread tapping is somewhat shoddy and the set screws are loose in the threads. I stripped one that was wriggly in the threads, and cross threaded it to get it to stay. If I back out the screw now the threads will be destroyed of course.
