  I did lots of research and on a budget I found this TV. I am very happy with the purchase and the TV is awesome in my opinion. I read lots of reviews on how TV’s were damaged on delivery or other problems. I would recommend this purchase to anyone.

  purchased this at frys, got it on a special, $799. everything about it is great. picture is bright and clear, 4k upscaling is great on regular tv and on bluray movies. colors are bright and clear. it replaced a 2014 lg plasma which I found to be lacking in brightness. I did a lot of searching for reviews on 4k tvs, from the high priced to the lower priced, all makes. I hesitated in buying one because of lack of 4k programming. frys had this on display and for the cost I decided to take a chance. it was well worth the risk as watching tv is more enjoyable, the picture clarity is amazing. I would recommend this to anyone.

  I would get this unit as I did, when it’s on-sale locally.
  PLUS:
  Once you spend some time tweaking, the picture quality is good. Don’t expect a miracle though this TV does not have active local dimming. This is a $1000 set not a $2300 set, that said, on par or better than most sets costing $500 more.
  Slim: TV is very slim unit. Has no bulky protrusions
  Smart TV – is also smart when you set it up, walks you through a process and even gets your cable TV provided remote to work.

  BAD:
  Expect to spend a few hours calibrating the unit. Out of the box, the picture is horrible.

  Can’t comment:
  Sound. I’ve heard it’s bad but I run through a 5.1 receiver so can’t comment.
