Tough and Well Made, March 15, 2016

Rather than using this as my camera bag it is going to be my every day carry bag. I’ll put in some supplies that I need, and other items I would need for a days outing. I ordered this item on Feb. 28th and received it on March 14th. It came from China which accounts for the longer shipping time. What is frustrating is the so called “Tracking” by our own USPS. They provide a tracking number, but it means nothing as the progress is rarely updated. The USPS continues to be third in shipping options. The estimated delivery date or EDD is a better date to plan on. Plan on two weeks minimum.
It is worth the wait though. Tough and well made from my inspection. There were five stray threads, easily burned off and everything works just fine. The snaps are strong, which I like, and buckles and straps of the top flap can be adjusted.
I bought the Army Green and here are my thoughts as I look at it while I write. The thick and soft canvas IS green..well sometimes. Let’s just say that it is the brownest army green this Veteran has seen. Outside in the sun and as it sits on my brown desk it shows a green overtone. The on line picture is correct, just with an Army Greenness. As I was looking for a dark khaki pack I am happy with this one.
The rain cover in the bottom pocket is attached by an elastic piece to prevent loss. Nice touch.
I also thought the hook/loop flap that provides access from the top section to the bottom was a great idea. It allows you to put in a wider laptop, some clothing, or an item you just bought while out and about.
I would have liked an exterior mesh pocket large enough for my collapsible water bottle, but the side pockets will easily hold a regular 16oz plastic bottle of water. I just folded the flaps inside the pocket and the bottle fit easily.
I am a big man, 50 chest, and was concerned that the shoulder straps would be too small. Not the case. There was room to spare wearing a twill long sleeve shirt and believe that I would still be comfortable wearing a jacket as there was still adjustment room.
There is some Mollie style webbing on the front providing nine attaching points. Knowing me, I’ll soon be looking for something to put there.

This will be my second one ive ordered, i use it as a camera bag, classic design, ample space for my camera rig and lenses and flash items. Sturdy, love the feel and look. I buy a product called NEVER WET and give it a thorough treatment a couple times a year and NOTHING sticks to it at all. Benefits are also its not got ” ” Look at my 3000 dollars worth of camera gear ” emblems all over it either. I own a photographey group on Facebook and several members have fell in love w the pack as well, several fellow shooters have commented on it as well. Im very pleased

Best camera bag ever!!, June 16, 2015

Just received package and I’m in love. Perfect size, great quality and looks great!! Camera equipment fits perfect and I have room to spare. I had gotten a similar bag from etsy but felt cheap and was cheap and fell apart quickly.
