I have several Sentey products on my PC and they have always been exceptional. I did not expect anything different with these. We used these vigorously over the last week to provide you a good review. Between my son and I using them for various reasons including Steam gaming and video editing they have been superior in sound quality and mic use considering the price range these fall in. I was actually amazed at the sound when I tested these. I have a series of sweeps and distortion mods I run them through to really push them to the limits..These tests are designed for pushing headsets to their limits. These held up with no issues at very high volumes. I don’t recommend that but in the fairness of a good review it had to be done. The self adjusting headband is awesome. I have one other set that has this style headband and these are my go to set…long hours of play with no head fatigue. The mic slips right up in to the headset as well..so its not sticking out in some weird place when you are not using it. Very stealthy. Nice clean design and even some cool factor with the added led lights in the end caps I am giving this headset a very high 5 star review. If you are in the market for a decent headset and you are on a budget I can recommend these. Save some money and put it into your games…You won’t be disappointed. |Definitely A Bang-For-The-Buck Headset,
The bass-vibration is a nice touch, and I’m sure will come in handy during FPS games…although I can see where some people may get annoyed by this function after a while. Thankfully, there is a switch on the left ear that allows you to turn the vibration off. The volume control is easy to manipulate, although the system (PC or Chromebook) volume control will likely be best for my uses. This isn’t audiophile-level quality, but it isn’t garbage either. I had no pops, scratches, or static while using these for listening to music, YouTube vids, and regular sound effects from my Chromebook.
The blue LEDs were a nice touch, and a relative commented that they wanted a pair like my “Star Wars” headset. The brightness is enough to be noticed (especially if I’m wearing them in the dark), but not so much that it’s obnoxious. If I don’t want the lights on, I can turn them off with a switch just like with the vibration function.
I have a large head, and had a somewhat difficult time being comfortable with a Turtle Beach headset I used to own. I braced myself for disappointment, and yet this headset rested comfortably on my head (thanks to the retractable headband). The headset itself is rather light, which is a very good thing as I have and will engage in marathon gaming sessions and would not want to feel like an albatross is sitting on my head. I turned my head in several directions and rested in multiple positions to see if there might have been any discomfort. None could be found (for me, that is). The earcups rest easy on my ears, however after about an hour of wear there was a thin film of sweat (not a big deal, because I sweat easily and the room was also rather warm).
While I did not have the opportunity to try out a Google Hangout or other voice activity with his headset (I’ll update this review when I do), I was able to manipulate the mic boom, and found it rather unobtrusive. I like the way it stores away into the side of the earcup.
The cord appeared to be braided, which indicated to me that this wasn’t something flimsy that might have sheared, pulled, or torn easily.
Overall, I think that this headset deserves the 5 star rating due to its appearance, usability, weight, price range, and function.
If I get a chance, I’ll update this review with some photos of the product.

EDIT #2 – After using it for some time now, I am ready to render a verdict on the quality of the mic on this headset:
The mic is good for what I am using it for. I wouldn’t try to broadcast on Twitch long-term or podcast with it too much, but it is very clear on Discord and Google Hangouts. So good for multiplayer talking, not so good for higher quality audio when trying to stream. Still gets 5 stars from me.

The headphones are soft and very comfortable to wear and are labeled Left and Right. The earpads are 3 inches wide and 4 inches tall. The earpads are big enough for your ears to fit inside the pads to block out surrounding noises. The headphones are easy to adjust by simply putting the headphones on your head and allowing the headband to slides, which adjusts to fit your head. They fit everyone perfectly and sit comfortably on my head without being too tight or too loose.
The sound is always nice and crisp without any static noise or muffled sounds. The headphones has a switch for you to choose which setting you want to listen in. You can choose the regular setting or the vibration mode. The vibration mode vibrates with the rhythm or with loud sounds. I really enjoy this setting because it helps you feel the emotions and moods of a movie. When you listen to music it makes you feel like you are there feeling the pounding bass and drums. The louder you have this setting, the more you feel the vibration.
The headphones have a mic that is tucked away on the left earpad. You pull it down when you need it and push it back into place when you want it out of your way. The headphones also have a blue gaming light on the side of them. Both earphones light up when you turn the switch on. You have the choice to have them on or off.
Overall, these are the best headphones I have ever owned. They are used everyday and have held up great. I am still amazed at how these headphones make me feel like I am a part of the movie or at a concert when I wear them.
