I bought this cool little device on a promotion. It arrived way before the announced arrival date, was easy to set up and has clear instructions. Bought the iBudz Bluetooth Receiver and Transmitter for two purposes – to play music from phones through an older home stereo system with great sound, and to use in our older non-bluetooth cars for the same purpose. Works great in both cases. Might have to buy another, would certainly recommend it.

Works great on back of my stereo. Easy setup. It does come with a USB power supply which was a nice surprise. There is also an internal battery when i was showing it to friends.

Very cool little gizmo this iBudz Bluetooth Receiver and Transmitter. I bought the iBudz two months ago and wanted to use it for a few weeks before writing review. Overall, this gadget is very cool – works exactly as advertised with excellent range and it gives me wireless freedom. I also like the fact that it is white which differentiates itself from other receiver/transmitters that are all mostly black. I use it to connect my old iPod Classic, which does not have Bluetooth, to my new Bluetooth enabled Yamaha receiver. Initially I had some trouble connecting, wrote to the company, and I have to admit their customer support guys are super and very personable – helped me understand my setup and all I had to do was change the switch from RX to TX since I was sending (Transmitting) audio from my iPod to my home Yamaha receiver. I also use the iBudz to watch TV in bed while my wife is sound asleep. All I had to do is connect the iBudz to the headphone 3.5mm jack on my old Sony LCD in TX mode, pair with my Bose bluetooth enabled headphones and now I can watch the news or PVR recordings without bothering my wife. I wondered whether there would be a lag as I have read reviews on other similar products. I know theoretically there is supposed to be some lag, but there is no noticeable lag. Range is fantastic, I can leave my bedroom, go downstairs to the kitchen during a commercial and I am still able to clearly hear the audio. And just for fun I also used it in my wife’s Mazda 3 which does not have Bluetooth. All I had to do was connect the iBudz to the auxiliary input, change the direction to RX since the car stereo was receiving the audio signal, pair with my Samsung S4 and bam – music streaming from my smart phone thru the car stereo – just awesome. I would definitely recommend this to my friends, this is simply an awesome gadget. My only complaint would be if the battery charge could last 20+ hrs versus the 9hrs, that would be on my wish list. But they do ship a wall charger with the package, which is very convenient. Overall, very nice practical product, I may have to buy another and leave it in my wife’s car so she can listen to music she enjoys on her daily commute to/from work. Lastly, don’t let the size and weight of the product fool you…great things come in small packages.
