The Brainwavz Hengja is is a practical headphone desk hanger that is suitable for large or small headphones of almost any weight. Its all metal construction allows the Hengja to be both sturdy and stylish, with no chances of it bending when even the heaviest of headphones are placed on it. The Hengja can be placed either horizontally surface (i.e. table top) or can be rotated with a hex key (not included) to fit on vertical surfaces (i.e. table leg).

This is, as stated, a headphone hanger. It’s made entirely of metal, a really nice choice IMHO. Most hangers I’ve seen are made of plastic, with pretty low quality to boot. The Hengja’s do not, in any way, feel low budget or cheap. The metal screw used to clamp it to a desk or shelf feels very solid, and it stays tight when screwed down. You can either hand tighten it or use a flat head screwdriver, either way works fine.
What’s unique about these is that they can be clamped down either vertically or horizontally, your choice, nice. The clamp section rotates to allow this, simple and effective. You can also adjust the length of the hanging bracket by using a 4mm allen key to undo two screws to move it forward and replace just one screw(see included pic)….but the standard length should suffice for most all headband widths.
The only fly in the ointment I could see here is that the metal clamp has no sort of padding on it(the top half does, though). You might want to use a piece of felt or something to protect whatever it is your clamping it to. Otherwise, this serves it’s purpose with no other compromises I could see. The price for the Hengja’s is also a plus as it currently resales for only $13.99, a bargain IMHO considering they are all metal and built like a tank. These are definitely worth the money if looking for an easy way to hang up all of your headphones with ease on the cheap, without feeling like you got a cheap hanger at all. Highly recommended!

with a little help this is the best headphone hanger on the market,
i really like the fact that this thing breaks down into four pieces with the removal of the hex head screw because i plan on mounting this headphone hanger to a Impact BHE-102 Heavy-Duty Flex Arm for Super Clamp so i can keep it up and out of the way on my desktop.
before i ordered this i asked on here what size the hex head screw was and wasn’t able to get an answer until now. its a M5x0.8 screw.

Great quality, especially for the price. Also got lucky…,
I find this hanger to be great quality. No scratches and no paint coming off the metal after using it for several months now. I said that I get lucky because the hanger JUST fit the thickness of my desk so I want to provide this information. It helps that the inside of the top has a thin layer of soft padding.
With the bolt screw all the way “down”, the hanger can fit a desk with thickness 1 1/8″ or 28.5mm.
You can take out the bolt (but then you can’t tighten…), the inner space can fit a desk 1 5/16″ or more precisely 34mm thick.
The 2nd image shows there’s room left at the loosest setting with the Ikea Ekby Jarpen shelf, which is 1″ thick.
