  The camera has an amazing zoom. The pictures are crystal clear and beautiful. The package was helpful, although it did not include the cord needed to connect it to the computer. However, I own an older Canon camera, and the cord worked well. This is a great camera for those like me who want better quality pictures, but do not have the time to learn how to use a camera with various lenses. I would definitely recommend this product.

  I have a Canon G15 which I dearly love for underwater photos and videos, but it only has a 5x zoom. I am going to Alaska and wanted a more powerful camera, so I bought the SX520 HS with the 42x zoom. It is fantastic. I can even hold it in one hand and take long distance pictures clearly. It must have a super steady shot feature on it. It is light weight and easy to use. Canon is my camera of choice from now on.

  Amazingly straight forward to use. I’m a big fan of point and shoot which can be done with this camera. It’s a good size with a nice grip to help hold it steady during picture taking. The view screen is large enough to see what you’re shooting. It has a large variety of features that more serious photographers would enjoy but I’m just a “take pics of the family & friends ” kind of photographer so most of the features available I probably won’t be using. I really do like this camera and would recommend it to anyone who just enjoys taking pictures and not having to worry about hoping you have your shot in focus.
