After installing the cable to connect my Cambridge Audio Sonata AR30 to DV30 the volume increased about 20% on music CDs. Mi prior cable was a generic one (good quality generic). This means the silver serpent cable has very low resistance.
What most impressed me was the clarity on the music, specially bass. Bass was deep and very well defined. At first, it took me a while to get used to how the music coming from my HI-FI system changed on balance and bass. Also mid-range seems to be a lot more audible that before. Highs doesn’t seem to change from my short listening tests.
I am waiting now a pair of better quality speaker cables that I ordered also here to provide a final veredict as my current speakers are driven by a basic Monster cable (aluminium + cooper) so they are not at their full quality potential. The new ones will be 100% cooper and on twisted form. (I wish I could afford the BetterCables.com for speakers but i can’t pay $180 right now so I settled for a Monter “ultra 600” THX certified wich seemed good enough and a lot cheaper)….

Im not an expert but it’s just improve the sound.. from low, mid and high’s and clarity and I can notes an improve compare to my old monster cable. Excellent quality, great looking. All in all… it worth the money.
